About Us

We believe that every baby is unique and precious, so why should their cot be any different? Our vision is to create cots that will be cherished, just like your newborn baby! 

Craig created this family company with his wife in 2024 after the birth of their baby. They looked at many cots on the marketplace and found that there was nothing that was pure wood, unique, comfortable and sturdy. Therefore, it was decided that Craig would use his carpentry and joinery experience to create and craft a beautiful cot for the family that was as special as his baby was to him. This was such a rewarding experience and so it was decided that more babies should have a cot that is exquisite and professionally crafted.  

Sapling cots is unique to other cot making companies because Craig uses traditional British joinery, and so the cots exhibit vintage craftsmanship which is more robust than just screws and nails found in general marketplace ones. This means every cot that is created has a great deal of thought, love and care put into it, something manufactured cots can lack.  

Sapling cots was named so because ‘Sapling’ is a baby tree and all our cots are created from responsibly sourced timber, that can be replenished. We are proud to be sustainable and eco-friendly.
